How soon prior to my appointment should I arrive?
Arriving five to ten minutes prior to appointment time would be adequate to complete paperwork, including any address or insurance changes, as well as a health history update.
Will you file my insurance?
As long as your insurance policy allows you to go to any office of your choice, we can file your insurance claim. You are responsible for your anticipated portion, such as deductible or co-pay, at the time of your appointment. If your insurance company does not pay the anticipated portion, or does not pay in a reasonable amount of time, you will be responsible for the balance.
Does Dr. Coker participate with my insurance plan?
We are an "in-network" provider for Delta Dental and MetLife Dental only.
What if I need to change an appointment?
Please call our office no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time if you should need to cancel or reschedule.
Can I have dental treatment after my recent medical procedure?
If you are receiving dental treatment and have a heart murmur, mitral-valve prolapse, or any replaced heart valves or joints; the American Heart Association does mandate an antibiotic be taken one hour prior to receiving dental treatment. Please make us aware of any changes to your health prior to your dental treatment in case these precautions apply to you.
Can my child come into the exam room with me?
For the safety of the child, we recommend anyone not receiving dental treatment to wait in our reception area.
